Allies
Over the last decade FII’s partnerships with families across the country have proven that when self-determination is supported families can leverage their capacities and knowledge to improve their own economic and social mobility.
Families working hard to improve their lives often require access to additional social and financial capital to realize the visions they have for themselves and communities.
We are developing an online network to expand access to social capital for people changing their lives and communities in partnership with FII. It’s called UpTogether and Allies like you can help families directly by sharing your expertise and social capital—access to your network and contacts, feedback and advice for small business owners, and a myriad of other ways that people share resources that have proven successful.
Have you ever asked a friend for feedback on your resume? Did a teacher review your college essays? Has a colleague given you advice on starting a business? Did someone share their own experience with you before you bought your first home? No matter what our goals are as individuals, there are always people who help along the way. If you are interested in being an Ally through UpTogether, please request an access code.
